Welcome to HolidayinHolland.net. This site is built for people who want to visit Holland or are orienting on where to spend their holidays. Although a lot of people visit the Netherlands each year, many people use it only as a short stop in their complete western Europe tour. This is a pity. Not only for us, the Dutch, but also for yourself! There is so much to see in our tiny country. We have loads of history, famous cities like Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague. There are also palaces to visit, the Deltaworks (our first line in defence against the North Sea) and many other things. You can find a lot of information on the different pages, ranging from a factsheet to a general information section. There is also a sections about what we are proud of and what the prejudices about the Dutch are. Of course, these are being reconsidered after reading it!
